The Oregon Department of Transportation’s contractor Roy Houck Construction will perform nighttime paving activities to resurface the on and off ramps of Interstate 84 Exit 207 and Exit 209 in Pendleton over the next few weeks.
All work will take place at night with closures starting at 9 p.m. and ending at 6 a.m. Prep work will take place tonight and Tuesday night with paving starting Wednesday night, or the following Tuesday night after Memorial Day.
Only one interchange will be closed at a time with message boards directing freeway traffic to use alternate ramps. Message boards will also be located along U.S. 30 and/or U.S. 395 to advise of the freeway ramp closures, as appropriate.
The work will take approximately two to three weeks to complete. Motorists are advised to watch for ramp closure information and plan extra travel time to account for this nighttime work.
