No one was injured Friday in a vehicle fire on Interstate 82 near Bridge Road.
Around 9 a.m., Umatilla County Fire District #1 responded to a vehicle fire on the shoulder of I-82 near Bridge Road. Units responded to a pick-up truck fully engulfed in flames and a one-acre brush fire alongside the highway.
Umatilla Rural Fire Protection District provided mutual aid with its brush truck and, together, they were able to put out the vehicle fire and brush fire.
