In Friday’s league match, the host Nyssa Bulldogs football squad came away with a 46-28 victory over the Umatilla Vikings.
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Vale Vikings in a 3A Eastern Oregon match, on Friday, Oct. 23. Nyssa will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record.
With the loss, Umatilla drops to 4-3 overall and 2-2 in league play. The Vikings travel to Boardman to take on the Riverside Pirates in a 3A Eastern Oregon test on Friday. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 2-4. Riverside lost 70-12 in their recent league test against Vale.
