Umatilla County Health today reported 42 new coronavirus cases – up 25 from Wednesday.
Today’s new cases bring the county’s overall total to 3,265. There are currently 167 presumptive cases of COVID-19 in Umatilla County.
On Wednesday, Umatilla County Health launched its COVID-19 dashboard that lists the day’s new case reports as well as the county’s total number of cases since the pandemic began, as well as daily (if any) and total deaths due to the virus. It also includes daily hospitalizations and discharges.
The dashboard includes information on how the pandemic is hitting specific age demographics. The numbers show that those in the age group 20-39 make up nearly 40 percent of the county’s cases.
The dashboard groups Umatilla County into Region 9 which also includes Morrow, Malheur, Baker and Union counties daily and overall totals.
