Six lucky archery hunters will have the opportunity to enjoy three days hunting the 10,000-acre C2 Ranch during the Rogue Unit late archery deer season.

The Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife said the ranch will draw from a pool of qualified applicants on Nov. 2.

To be eligible, hunters must have an unused general archery season tag, a valid hunting license, and register for their chance to hunt the ranch by 11:59 p.m., Oct. 31. It is free to apply.

The C2 Cattle Company offers this hunt in partnership with ODFW’s Access and Habitat Program and the Rogue Valley Chapter of the Oregon Hunters Association. Located just 25 minutes east of Medford, C2 Ranch is a conservation-minded operation with a vision of preserving the land and natural resources, including wildlife, while running a working cattle ranch.

Successful applicants receive three days access to the ranch between Nov. 14–Dec. 6. Ranch staff will coordinate hunts and try to accommodate requests for hunting dates to the best of their ability.

The C2 Ranch has been involved with ODFW’s Access and Habitat Program since 2007. The legislatively created program encourages private landowners to improve public hunting access and wildlife habitat on their lands.
