A contractor for the Oregon Department of Transportation will begin working on curb ramps on Highway 395 on the south end of Hermiston starting this week.

Work is expected to begin today at East View Drive; however, schedules are subject to change at the last moment. Motorists are urged to watch for crews in the areas of East View Drive, East Evelyn Drive and Port Drive.

Work will begin in late September or early October on Rosalyn Drive and Arborvitae Drive.

ODOT is also continuing work this week on ADA upgrades on Highway 395 in Stanfield. Work is being done curbs, gutters, and storm sewers.

Traffic pattern changes continue through downtown Stanfield, with one northbound and one southbound travel lane, plus a dedicated center turn lane. The center lane might be used to shift traffic while workers are onsite.

Watch for signs and work crews. Minor delays should be expected.

This week, the contractor will be removing pavement through Stanfield.

This project is scheduled for completion by the end of October.
