Oregon Department of Transportation striping crews will be repainting the lines on Interstate 84 between Boardman and the Hermiston area this week.
The slow-moving operation will result in minor delays and lane restrictions. Travelers are advised to be prepared for reduced freeway speeds, traffic pattern changes, and equipment and crews on or near the highway.
This operation will result in construction vehicles traveling at a speed of 12 mph or slower as they work to re-stripe the highway. Crew members may also be along the highway during this time.
ODOT encourages drivers to be on alert for this slow moving operation and to drive with extra caution in this and all work zones.
Slow down when you see orange. Traffic fines are double the amount in all work zones, workers or no.
