Ordnance Brewing will hold its grand opening of its tasting room and brewery in Boardman on Saturday, Aug. 1.
The celebration is open to adults 21-and-older from noon to 10 p.m. Lunch will be provided from noon until 3 p.m., after which food can be purchased from Beer Belly BBQ out of Pendleton from 5 to 9 p.m. Among the tasting room’s 15 taps will be limited release beers such as a Habanero Barley Wine and an Oak-Aged Imperial Stout. Live music and games will be provided throughout the day and the first 50 customers to purchase a pint of beer will receive a free Ordnance pint shaker glass.
Since a soft opening in May, Ordnance has expanded business hours and increased seating capacity. The tasting room is now open Wednesday through Friday from 2 to 9 p.m., Saturday from 2 to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. The brewery and tasting room are located at 405 North Olson Road, in the Port of Morrow, behind ConAgra/Lamb Weston.
