Oregon East Symphony to Give Free Drive-Through Concert on Oct. 24

The Oregon East Symphony will present “Let ‘Er Bach!” on Saturday, Oct. 24 in the Pendleton Convention Center parking lot, 1601 Westgate.

The free drive-in concert starts at 6 p.m. A masked and socially distanced string orchestra will perform Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 and Mozart’s Eine kleine Nachtmusik as patrons listen from their vehicles. The music will be transmitted over an FM signal, so make sure your vehicle has a functional radio or bring a portable radio. A screen and projector will provide maximum visibility. The concert will also be streamed live on the symphony’s YouTube channel and broadcast over 104.3 KCUW-LP Pendleton.
