Oregon East Symphony will kick off the 2022-2023 season with the performance of Space Jam! on Sunday, Nov. 6 at the Vert Auditorium, 480 S.W. Dorion Ave. in Pendleton.
The concert features artistic director Dr. Beau Benson conducting John Williams’ Star Wars Suite, Gustav Holst’s tone poem The Planets, which provided a major source of inspiration for Williams’ score, and African-American composer Adolphus Hailstork’s Intrada.
