The Oregon State Police (OSP) is asking for the public’s help regarding a reported shooting that allegedly took place on Interstate 84, about 12 miles north of Ontario.
The OSP is investigating a shooting that reportedly occurred on Dec. 9, sometime between 1:15 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Interstate 84, at milepost 362. The victim stated that he was driving a semi-truck tractor and trailer eastbound when a newer silver Chrysler passenger car, displaying a partial Idaho license plate of “1A”, approached and shot three rounds from a gun into the side of the semi-truck tractor and trailer. No injuries were reported.
The suspected assailant is described as follows as a white male in his 30s with a dark beard and mustache.
