If you’re looking to add some new recipes to your old Christmas goodie lineup, come on down to the Hermiston Community Center this Wednesday, Dec. 21 for the Christmas Cookie Exchange, hosted by the Hermiston Parks and Recreation Department.
Registration is not required. Just bake and bring two dozen of your favorite homemade cookies, bars or goodies, along with copies of their recipes to share (avoid everyday kinds such as chocolate chip, oatmeal, etc.). Then take home two dozen new favorites.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the exchange begins at 5:45 p.m. For more information, call 541-667-5018.
