The Hermiston Parks and Recreation Department is offering a fall photography workshop on Oct. 25 focusing on a local tree farm.
Special permission has been given to the parks department to go onto the property of the Greenwood Tree Farm for this workshop. Participatns will be taught how to use the manual setting along with other important functions on a camera to capture those vivd yellow colors.
The workshop runs from 4 to 7 p.m. Participants will meet at Hermiston City Hall. Transportation to the tree farm will be provided. No experience is needed, but a DSLR camera is required.
The class if for those 16 and older. The cost is $15 for Hermiston residents and $19 for nonresidents. The deadline to register is Friday, Oct. 21. For more information and to register, call 541-667-5018.
