The Hermiston Parks and Recreation Department is partnering with Whitman College to offer a rock climbing clinic for ages 13-18 on Thursday, July 24.
Instructors will teach participants how to rock climb at the college’s state-of-the-art indoor climbing facility. Transportation will be provided to Whitman College in Walla Walla for three hours of instruction and climbing. A signed release form from a parent or guardian is required.
The cost is $35 for Hermiston residents and $44 for nonresidents. The deadline to register is Friday, July 18. For more information, call the parks department at 541-667-5018.
