The Hermiston Parks and Recreation Department is offering a wildflower photo trip on Saturday, April 29.
The event will include a hike around Rowen Crest and Tom McCall Preserve with vistas of the gorge, Mount Hood along with fields and wildflowers.
The hike could include up to a couple of miles of elevated walking, so be sure to wear walking shoes. Those taking part must bring their own SLR camera. Instruction will be available, but participants will be able to explore and take their own photos.
Transportation and dinner is included. The cost is $45 for Hermiston residents and $56 for non-residents. The event is for those 18 and over. The deadline to register is April 21.
