Patricia Lea Grauer died Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013 at Life Care Center Of Richland in Richland, Wash., at the age of 79.
She was born Feb. 19, 1934 at Le Mars, Iowa to Louis Edward and Ruth Frances (Leesly) Rembe.
She was raised in Sioux City, Iowa and graduated from East High School in Sioux City. On June 14, 1954 she married Donald Louis Grauer in Marcus, Iowa. They moved to Vancouver, Wash., in 1960 and had lived in Vancouver, Proebstel, Battle Ground, and Goldendale, Washington before moving to Hermiston in 1978. Pat worked as a bookkeeper for her husband’s many business endeavors. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Hermiston, TOPS OR #1110, and the Red Hat Society. Pat loved scrap booking and was an accomplished artist.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Grauer of Hermiston; daughters, Debbie Mutton of Goldendale, Wash., Suzy Waters of Kennewick, Wash., and Jill Barnes of Hermiston; six grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Ruth Rembe; brother, James Rembe; and sister, JoAnn Baldwin.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Hermiston. Burial followed at the Hermiston Cemetery.
