Pedro Estrada Munoz of Irrigon passed away in Irrigon on Jan. 18, 2024 at the age of 86.
He was born on Dec. 4, 1937 in Durango, Mexico to Antonia Munoz and Hilario Estrada.
He grew up in Durango where he met the love of his life, Felicitas Estrada. Together they had six children, Junior Estrada, Gorgonio Estrada, Tina Estrada, Manuel Estrada, Alfonso Estrada and Agustin Estrada.
Pedro and Felicitas came to the United States in 1979 to Umatilla to raise and watch their children grow.
Pedro worked for Lamb Weston in Boardman for 35 years, retiring in 2003.
Viewing will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 23 at the Burns Mortuary Chapel in Hermiston. Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 6 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 24 at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church.
Burial will follow in the Hermiston Cemetery.
