The Pendleton Center for the Arts is inviting supporters to gather on Sunday, Nov. 3 for Dinner with Friends.

The event will be held at Virgil’s at Cimmiyotti’s, 137 S. Main St. Owner Jennifer Keeton is offering the use of the facility for the event as a donation to the cause.

No-Host cocktails and mini-auction starts at 5:30 p.m., and dinner is served at 6:30 p.m. Guests do not need to be members of the Arts Council to attend.

This year marks the third Dinner with Friends event, an off-year alternative to the big, gala auctions that the organization hosts every other year.

“It was inspired by the fact that our PCA patrons, customers, and students from around the region all feel like friends to us,” said Executive Director Roberta Lavadour. “Getting to share a delicious meal together seemed like the most enjoyable way to raise the important funding we need.” All funds raised will go to support the free art classes that PCA makes available to all age groups in the community.

The evening includes a 10-course tasting menu, featuring the signature dishes of the staff and board members of PCA.

“Most of us cook for our friends and family, and everyone has that one dish that’s always a winner,” said Lavadour. “It should be eclectic and delicious.”

All attendees will receive a special cookbook featuring all the dishes served over the course of the evening.

Tickets are $40 per person or $75 per couple and are available at pendletonarts.org or by calling 541-278-9201. Tickets are also available by stopping by the Pendleton Center for the Arts at 214 North Main. Seating is limited to 80 guests, so early ticket reservations are recommended.
