The Pendleton Public Library is hosting its second annual Library Comic Con on Saturday, Aug. 6th from 2-4 p.m.
Library Assistant Heather Culley is organizing the Comic Con again this year after the success of the inaugural event.
“We had so much fun last year, with great costumes and cool swag, but this year is going to be even better,” she said. “It’s a summertime Pendleton can’t-miss.”
The Comic Con will be at the Pendleton Public Library, 502 S.W. Dorion Ave., in Pendleton. Admission to the event is free.
Featured activities for the event include:
- A costume contest
- A one-shot role playing game
- Vendor booths
- Magic: the Gathering Tournament
- FREE vintage comic books
Additional activities include crafts, a green-screen photo booth and informational booths. All library activities will be offered for free; vendors may charge for their items.
