The Pendleton Public Library will host its third annual Pendleton Comic Book Convention.
This year’s event is 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at the Pendleton Public Library, 502 SW Dorion Ave. Organizer Heather Culley said there will be drawings for gift baskets, prizes and a life-sized helium-filled stormtrooper.
“This year, expect bigger and better prizes and more fun with people who love comics and games and movies,” she said. “It’s waiting for you!”
The free event will also feature free comic book giveaways, a costume contest, a puppet demonstration, craft table and vendors.
