The city of Pendleton has released the results of the 2022 City Communications Survey.
The survey was designed to help gauge current conditions and guide communication decisions, working toward one of the Pendleton City Council’s of improving communication between the community and city government
In July and August, the city invited community members to provide feedback about how the Pendleton is communicating and what could be improved. Over the course of six weeks, 340 participants completed the 20-question survey.
More than half (56%) of survey participants felt well informed or somewhat informed about the city of Pendleton. The same percentage (56%) also felt the city does not share information often enough, and slightly more participants (57%) said the city does not share enough information. By category, participants want to hear more about construction, the city council and administrative decisions, emergency preparedness, and economic development.
