Blue Mountain Community College’s AmeriCorps VISTA members will celebrate Make a Difference Day on Oct. 22 by collecting donations for the Pendleton Warming Station throughout the month of October.
The team’s goal is to collect enough donations to help at least 25 homeless individuals.
From Oct. 1-21, donations may be dropped off in BMCC’s Pioneer and Morrow halls on the Pendleton campus, as well as at Safeway and Grocery Outlet in Pendleton. Final donations will be delivered to the Warming Station on Oct. 22.
Needed donations include warm clothes, coats, socks, shoes, sleeping bags, pillows, backpacks, food and more.
