If you’ve been looking to adopt a dog as a pet, but have been putting it off, you might want to visit Hermiston’s animal shelter on Saturday.
The Humane Society of Eastern Oregon Pet Rescue is inviting the public to its Doggy Daze of Summer fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the shelter, 1844 N.W. Geer Road. The shelter is offering a $25 savings on all adoptions during the event.
Hot dogs, chips and pops will be served, live music will be performed, dog tags will be available, and nail trimmers and a vet will be on site.
