Good Shepherd Health Care System hosted Family Health & Fitness Day at Hermiston High School on Saturday. The event got started with a 5-K fun before moving inside where children could have their stuffed bear get a checkup at the teddy bear clinic, get their bike helmets properly fitted, take part in the Home Depot workshop or try their luck at a variety of games. The event also included free flu shots, tai chi demonstrations and dozens of vendors offering information on health care resources. This year’s event was the first one held since 2019 due to the pandemic.
