HERMISTON, Ore.-It was a tough night for the hometown Bulldogs, as both the boys and girls varsity basketball teams dropped Mid-Columbia Conference games to Kennewick.
The Lions handed the Hermiston girls their second loss of the season 62-48, dropping the Bulldogs to 5-2 in league play and 7-2 overall.
In the second game of the doubleheader, the Hermiston boys started strong, before suffering their third consecutive loss, 61-52. The loss to the Lions dropped the Bulldogs to 2-5 in league and 3-5 overall.
