The Umatilla County Fair returned on Wednesday, along with triple-digit temperatures. Fairgoers found relief with cold drinks, mist machines and industrial-sized fans. Here’s a few scenes from the fairgrounds at the Eastern Oregon Trade & Event Center.
Gates open today at 10 a.m., with kids 10 and under getting in free. The Davis Carnival opens at 2 p.m. and goes until 11 a.m. Tonight’s Main Stage headliner is Everclear. The Farm-City Pro Rodeo gets under way at 7:45 p.m.
