UMATILLA, Ore.-The Umatilla High School Varsity boys and girls basketball teams split their games with Riverside in 3A-6 Eastern Oregon League action from Umatilla High School on January 15.
The Umatilla girls beat Riverside, 38-22, for their second league win of the season and improved to 7-8 overall on the season.
The Umatilla boys fell in a close contest to Riverside, 74-65, dropping the Vikings to 10-5 overall.
The Vikings will return to the court on January 17, hosting McLoughlin at Umatilla High School, with the girls set to tipoff at 3 p.m., followed by the boys at 4:30 p.m.
