Anna M. “Polly” Golladay died on Nov. 5, 2022 at her home in Umatilla at the age of 92.
She was born on March 13, 1930 in Danvers, Mont. to Clement and Myrtle Johnson Killham.
Polly was raised and attended school in Danvers, Mont. She married Warren Golladay, and they moved to Seattle, Wash. for a time before moving to Lewistown, Mont. They later lived in Burbank, Wash. before divorcing, and Polly moved to Orofino, Idaho before settling in Umatilla in 1980, where she had lived since.
Polly worked at Good Shepherd Hospital and later at the McNary Dam as a fish counter for several years. She enjoyed horses and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sons, Roger Golladay, Kennewick, Wash. and Robert Golladay, Umatilla; daughters, Renee Thompson, Finley, Wash. and Rochelle Sturgeon, Post Falls, Idaho; brother, Clayton Killham, Hobson, Mont.; sister, Barb Grindheim, Danvers, Mont.; 13 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Polly was preceded in death by her son, Russell; daughter, Ronalee; brothers, Jim and Joe; and sisters, Bev and Betty.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022 at 1 p.m. at the Hermiston Cemetery.
