Boardman city officials have issued a traffic alert on N.E. Columbia Avenue for utility work being done for the new apartment complex currently under construction in that area.
Portions of N.E. Columbia Avenue will be open to one lane of traffic only today and Friday, March 23.
Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to flaggers and signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits and be on the alert for workers and equipment.
