The 2014 Hermiston Relay for Life is drawing near and organizers are planning for an action-packed event.
The relay will kick off at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 27 at Armand Larive Middle School. Survivor registration gets under way at 4 p.m. in the school commons and silent auction will take place at 5 p.m. in the school’s practice gym.
A survivor/care giver dinner will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and the Round-Up City Cloggers will perform at 7 p.m.
Other events include a luminary ceremony at 10 p.m. and a midnight pizza party. Several team-themed fundraisers and contests will take place throughout the event. Breakfast will be served from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, and closing ceremonies will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
