Saturday night was championship night at the Farm-City Pro Rodeo as Garrett Smith took home the all-around title after a solid night in steer wrestling and bull riding.
The Rexburg, Idaho cowboy scored a 79 on Crazy Bull and turned in a time of 7.9 in the steer wrestling to claim the all-around title Saturday night.
Montana’s Ty Erickson of Montana had the best combined time in steer wrestling for the week with a 9.5 seconds. Stanfield’s Travis Taruscio had the fastest time of the week on Saturday when he turned in a time of 4.3 seconds.
The bareback title went to Bobby Mote aboard Special Delivery. Mote had the best score of the week Saturday night with an 88. Mote’s impressive ride topped the 86 turned in Friday night by Will Lowe and Richie Champion.
No one could best the score of 85 Saturday night in saddle bronc riding. Jacobs Crawley’s 83 points weren’t enough to take the title from Doug Aldridge and Zeke Thurston.
Kali Parker is the 2015 Farm-City Pro Rodeo barrel racing champ. Her average of 34.60 was the fastest combined times of the week. Ivy Conrado of Hudson, Colo., turned in the fastest time of the night on Saturday with a 17.57 seconds.
In tie-down roping, Timber Moore’s combined time of 17.0 was enough to secure the title.
The Farm-City team roping title went to Kaleb Driggers and Marin Lucero, whose combined time of 10.1 topped the field for the week.
The bull riding title went to Clayton Foltyn. Riding on Mr. Buddy, Foltyn turned in a score of 86 to claim the title.
