Richard Claims Farm-City All-Around Title

Rhen Richard claimed the All-Around title Saturday night during the Farm-City Pro Rodeo in Hermiston.

The Roosevelt, Utah cowboy took the title with his performances in tie-down roping and team roping. Richard took home $5,333 and a custom saddle for his all-around win.

Hermiston’s Callahan Crossley finished third in the barrel racing with a time of 17.21 and took home a $2,920 paycheck for her efforts.

In bull riding, Cole Melancon had the week’s top score with 83.5, followed by Garrett Smith’s 83 and Kurtis Turner’s 81.

In tie-down roping, Tyler Prcin had the top time on two head with a 16.7, followed by All-Around champ Richard with a time of 17.4 and Jayce Johnson with a combine time of 18.9.

In the saddle bronc event, Sterling Crawley and Tyrell J. Smith each posted scores of 83 to claim the title. Brady Nicholes was third with a score of 81.

Jake Vold took home the bareback title with a score of 87, followed by Jessy Davis with an 86.5, and Mason Clements with an 84.

The steer wrestling title was won by Clayton Hass with a time of 10.3 on two head, followed by Ty Erickson with an 11.1 and Ethen Thouvenell with an 11.2.

Garrett Tonozzi and Wyatt Cox won the team roping title with an average time of 10.1 seconds. Erich Rogers and Cory Petska came in second with a 10.4, followed by Riley Minor and Brady Minor with a time of 10.6.
