The Hermiston Bulldogs struggled on both sides of the ball Friday night in a 48-0 home loss to the Richland Bombers.

Richland put up 14 points in each of the first two quarters against Hermiston in Mid-Columbia Conference action.

Freshman Isaac Corey threw for 62 yards for the Bulldogs in place of starting quarterback Chase Elliott, who was sick.

Hermiston’s Ben Larson hauled in five passes for 14 yards and ran for another 48.

The Bulldogs (0-4, 0-3) will travel to Walla Walla Friday to take on the 1-3 Blue Devils.
