Sgt. Richard S. “Rick” Payne of Hermiston died on March 25, 2022 in Hermiston at the age of 68.
He was born on Feb. 15, 1954 in Bremerton, Wash. to Richard “Dick” and Amalia “Molly” Payne.
Rick proudly served his country for 22 years in the United States Army and the Army National Guard until retiring in 2013.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela; sons, Randy and Russell; daughters, Megan and Morgan; daughters-in-law, Amy and Monica; sons-in-law, Kristopher and Mike; brothers, Scotty and David; best friends, Wayne and Debbie; grandchildren, Lilly, Wyatt, Audrey, Harlen, Sara, Ronan, Ryan, Carly, Marly, Mason, Brooklyn, Kylea, Julius and Darius; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents.
Services were held on Friday, April 8, 2022.
