The Riverside Pirates turned back the Umatilla Vikings on Friday, 38-13.
With the win, Riverside improves to 1-7 overall and 1-3 in league play. They will have a non-conference road game on Friday, Oct. 31 against the 3-4 Gaston Greyhounds.
Umatilla remains winless on the season at 0-8 overall and 0-4 in league play. Umatilla will have their hands full on Friday when they travel to take on the 7-0 Vale Vikings.
