Robert Alan Phillips of Hermiston died on March 23, 2018 in Hermiston at the age of 81.
He was born on May 12, 1936 in Elko, Nev. to Jack and Frances Leberski Phillips.
Robert served in the United States Navy Reserves and then enlisted in the United States Army. He served in Korea until his honorable discharge. Robert had lived for the past 20 plus years in Hermiston.
He is survived by his son, Alan Phillips and his wife Marylynn, Umatilla; daughter, Yvette Drake and her husband Jerry, Sweet Home; sister, Jaquelyn Chavez, Reno, Nev.; five grandchildren; and one great grandson.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Pat.
A private family burial will be held in Nevada.
