Rocky Brent Correa, 58, of Echo died peacefully on Sunday June 9, 2013 at his home in Echo.
He was born on Feb. 8, 1955 in Pendleton to Jess and Cecilia Correa of Echo. He graduated from Stanfield High School in 1973.
After graduating, Rocky went on to explore many interests and job opportunities throughout his life. Through those experiences he was able to create and maintain numerous friendships and lifelong connections along the way. Rocky loved his family, treasured his friends, but most of all loved being a dad and grandpa.
Rocky is survived by his mother, Cecilia Correa, of Echo; brothers, Dave and Richard Correa, both of Echo; sons, Neal Correa of Hermiston, and Kevin Correa of Portland; daughter, Lindsay (Correa) Markgraf and son-in-law, Jake Markgraf, of Pendleton; grandsons, Qwinn Correa of Hermiston, and Gabriel Markgraf of Pendleton; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Jess Correa; and brother, Randy Correa.
A Funeral Mass was held Jun 17 at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Hermiston. Burial followeded in the Echo Cemetery.
