Rosa “Lily” Torres died on June 10, 2013 at her home in Hermiston surrounded by her family.
She was born on Feb. 13, 1968 in Mexico.
Rosa was raised in Hermiston, graduating from Hermiston High School in the class of 1987. She then attended Blue Mountain Community College for a time and worked at Mr. A’s restaurant and at American Video in Hermiston. Rosa has worked as an escrow officer at Pioneer Title and Escrow for the last 18 years. She enjoyed time with her family, movies, reading, loved chocolate cakes and making cake cookies.
She is survived by her mother, Apolonia Torres, Hermiston; sisters, Guadalupe and husband, Abraham, Pasco, Wash., Arcelia and Richard, Hermiston, Rosario and husband, Dennis, Post Falls, Idaho, Candi and husband, Brad, Pendleton, and Deseree, Hermiston; brothers, Baltazar, Mexico, Adalberto and wife, Elena, Arizona, Lorenzo and wife, Carmen, Virginia; 33 nieces and nephews; and 20 grandnieces and nephews.
Rosa was preceded in death by her niece, Sandra Torres Godinez, a;nd brother, Miguel Torres.
Funeral mass was held on Friday, June 14, 2013 at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Hermiston.
Burial was held on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Riverview Cemetery, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
