The Port of Morrow invites the community to celebrate during the dedication of the SAGE Event Center.
According to a press release, the expansion project provides 15,000 square feet of versatile meeting space designed to foster community development and educational initiatives. The dedication ceremony is Friday, Nov. 15, 5:30 p.m. at 101 Olson Road. The event will feature guest speakers, tours of the new facility and an opportunity to visit with community leaders and partners.
Developed and operated by the Port of Morrow, the SAGE — Sustainable AGriculture & Energy — Center is an interactive museum dedicated to the local agriculture and energy industries. It opened its doors in May 2013.
The new SAGE Event Center offers a venue for programs and events that support continuing education, workforce initiatives and youth programs. The Oregon Legislature approved House Bill 5006 during the 2021 session, providing the Port of Morrow with $4.3 million to bring this vision to life.
The center enhances Morrow County’s capacity to host impactful events and training sessions to foster a skilled workforce and promote lifelong learning opportunities for residents. For more information, visit www.visitsage.com, search Facebook or call 541-945-2244.
