James S. “Sam” Esterbloom of Irrigon died on Aug. 15, 2018 in Boardman surrounded by his family at the age of 90.
He was born on Oct. 13, 1927 in Bonita, Calif.
A funeral service with military honors will be held on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2018 at 2 p.m. at New Hope Community Church, 1350 S. Highway 395, Hermiston.
Private burial will be at Willamette National Cemetery, Portland.
