Sandra L. “Sandie” Walker of Hermiston died on Aug. 23, 2024 in Hermiston at the age of 48.
She was born on June 8, 1976 in Hermiston to Wes and Shelley Walker.
Sandie was raised and attended schools in Hermiston. She graduated from Hermiston High School in the class of 1994. Sandie loved going to the coast and enjoyed music, the outdoors, flowers, sitting around the campfire, jigsaw puzzles and cherished time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Patrick Pinan, Hoodsport, Wash.; parents, Wes and Shelley Walker, Hermiston; children, Jacob Rasmussen and wife Taylor, Pendleton, Abbey Rasmussen, Hermiston and Royce M. Pinan, Hermiston; sister, Laura Foley and husband Jerry, Hermiston; brothers, Douglas Walker, Hermiston and Jordan Walker, Mandan, N.D.; grandchildren, Sylas and Harrison; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A private family celebration will be held.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sandie’s memory may be made to Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, Portland.
