Santa will flip the switch to light Hermiston’s community tree this Thursday, Dec. 3 during the annual Tree Lighting Celebration.
The event is virtual this year, and the Hermiston Parks and Recreation Department will broadcast it on Facebook. The celebration begins at 5:30 p.m. with musical performances, then Santa arrives at 6 p.m. Stay tuned to the parks department’s Facebook page for additional details to come.
