Congressional scheduling conflicts have caused U.S. Congressman Greg Walden to postpone a pair of Eastern Oregon town hall meetings.

Due to changes in the calendar for the House of Representatives announced by Democratic leadership, Walden (R-Hood River) will need to be present in Washington, D.C. for votes in the House.

As a result, Walden’s town halls set for Jan. 23 in Pendleton and Boardman will be re-scheduled for a later date.

“We will reschedule the town halls impacted by the revised House calendar next week and will announce the details for those town halls as soon as we can,” Walden said.
