The Hermiston School Board is considering moving the high school graduation ceremonies to a new  venue, depending on feedback from the community.

The Hermiston School District is seeking feedback from parents, students and community members to find out their preference where the ceremonies should take place.

The district is asking community members to take an online survey. The survey asks participants their thoughts on continuing the ceremonies at the Hermiston High School gym, moving it outdoors to Kennison Field, moving it to the rodeo facility at Eastern Oregon Trade & Event Center (EOTEC) or moving it to the Toyota Center in Kennewick. The HHS gym can hold 1,800 people, Kennison Field holds 2,000 people and both EOTEC and the Toyota Center can hold 5,000 people.

The survey will be open until Friday, August 25.
