The Hermiston School District will offer parents and guardians another opportunity to register students in kindergarten for the 2018-19 school year.

Staff will be available to assist with the online registration process at the Hermiston School District main offices on May 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 5-7:30 p.m.

The enrollment process can begin online by clicking Register NEW Students Online on the district website. Parents must answer all the questions that apply. For parents that do not have access to a computer, the district will supply an electronic device to facilitate the process.

To complete the registration process, parents or guardians need to bring the student’s birth record (birth certificate, baptismal certificate or passport); social security number; proof of residence; and health/immunization records.

To be eligible for enrollment into kindergarten for the fall, students must be 5 years old by Sept. 1, 2018, or born on or before Sept. 1, 2013. Parents or guardians may register students at their attendance area school from 8:30 am-3:30 pm, daily between now and the start of the new school year.

Spanish translation services will be available.
