The Hermiston School District has been awarded us the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting.
The designation comes from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) and is for the district’s annual comprehensive financial report for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2023. It is the 18th time the district has received this recognition, with 17 consecutive years of achievement.
The Certificate of Achievement signifies an outstanding achievement by our government and management, reinforcing our dedication to maintaining the highest financial reporting standards.
In addition to the Certificate of Achievement, the Hermiston School District’s finance department has received an Award of Financial Reporting Achievement. This award recognizes the individuals and teams primarily responsible for earning the Certificate.
