U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden will hold town halls next weekend in Malheur, Union, Morrow and Gilliam counties.
Wyden will hold a town hall meeting in Boardman at noon on Sunday, April 14 at the Port of Morrow.
Wyden has held 933 town halls statewide overall since promising Oregonians that he would hold at least one annual town hall in each of the state’s 36 counties.
“These upcoming open-to-all town halls in Eastern Oregon will allow anybody to ask any question or share any idea,” said Wyden, who this year won a second straight MVP award from the Town Hall Project for holding the most town halls of any senator in 2018.
“Throwing open the doors of government throughout our state and listening to Oregonians everywhere is essential to finding solutions that work,” Wyden said. “I look forward very much to practicing what I call the ‘Oregon Way’ and hearing what’s on people’s minds in Malheur, Union, Morrow and Gilliam counties.”
