Francis A. “Frank” Lowe of Hermiston died on April 27, 2019 in Richland, Wash. at the age of 79.
He was born on May 14, 1939 in Crawfordsville to George and Emma Edmison Lowe.
Frank was raised in Crawfordsville. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1958 and served until his honorable discharge in 1962. Frank lived in Salem, where he drove truck and married Cornelia “Cory” Pady on June 25, 1983. They moved to Hermiston in 1988, where they have lived since. Frank worked at A-Plus Connectors for a time and then at the Hermiston Cemetery from 2006 until retiring in 2013.
He enjoyed fishing, reading, westerns and driving truck. Frank was a men’s group leader with Good Samaritan Ministries.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Cory Lowe, Hermiston; daughters, Beth Danicich, Helena, Mont., Rachel Collyer, Hermiston, Jessica Lowe, Hermiston and Xebra Crespin, Boise, Idaho; son, Jeff Lowe, Salem; brothers, Ron Lowe, Loveland, Colo., Sam Lowe, Greenville, Texas, Tom Lowe, Stanfield and Dan Lowe, Prineville; grandchildren, Eli, Amyn, Chastity and Carter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Francis was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Don Lowe.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Burns Mortuary Chapel, Hermiston.
A private burial will be at the Hermiston Cemetery.
