Gladys M. Goodwin, of Hermiston, died on May 19, 2015 in Hermiston at the age of 76.
She was born on Oct. 8, 1938 in McDonald County, Mo.
Gladys was raised and attended school in McDonald County Mo. She moved to the Larson Ranch in White Salmon, Wash., in 1961. Gladys was united in marriage to Clayton Eugene “Gene” Goodwin on Oct. 19, 1961 in Gilmer, Wash. They lived in Trout Lake, Wash., and then moved to Hermiston in 1973 where they have lived since. Gladys worked for Lamb Weston from 1974 until retiring in 1991. She enjoyed rv-ing and snowmobiling for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Gene Goodwin, Hermiston; brothers, Harold Paul Rogers, Kansas City; Raymond Eugene Rogers, White Salmon, Wash., and Matthew Eugene Rogers, Kansas City; and several nieces and nephews.
Gladys was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of life gathering with sharing of memories will be held on Monday, June 1, 2015 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Burns Mortuary Chapel in Hermiston.
