He was born on April 19, 1933 in Joseph. Dude was united in marriage to Ila Mae Hicks on Feb. 25, 1955 in Hermiston. He worked for the city of Hermiston for many years as the superintendent in the water department. Dude enjoyed bowling and camping.
He is survived by his sons, Chris Woodward of Union and John Woodward of Hermiston; daughters, Julia Woodward, Hermiston, and Sheryl Woodward, Lebanon; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Dude was preceded in death by his wife, Ila Mae Woodward, and his parents.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Burns Mortuary Chapel in Hermiston. Burial will follow at the Hermiston Cemetery.
